Winter camping info
-
Select sites at the top of the campground are available for winter camping. The sites have 15 and 30 amp power, a picnic table, firepit and free WiFi. Water and sewer hookups are not available Oct 15 - Apr 15.
-
The bathrooms in the back of the office building are open with running water, hot showers and large sinks for dishwashing.
-
Potable water is available in the bathroom building. A hose is provided for filling your tanks. Please replace the hose inside after filling your RV so it does not freeze.
-
Snow is removed off the roads and off unoccupied sites. You are responsible for snow removal in your own site during your stay. Please note that snow can gather very quickly during heavy snowfalls so there may be snow on roads until we are able to remove it.
-
Firewood is available for purchase when you make a reservation in which case we will drop it on your site on your arrival day. If you wish to purchase more firewood during your stay our staff will have some available during daily evening rounds.
-
We have a sani-dump area with a sewer hookup available where you can dump your grey and black tanks, located in site 26. There is unfortunately no water available at the sani-dump, however you are welcome to fill any jugs, tanks etc. with fresh water at the top of the campground to use. Dumping grey or black water on the ground is strictly prohibited as it attracts wildlife.
-
Our office is closed for the winter. Campground staff are present in the campground daily if you have questions. Emails and phone messages do also get returned throughout the off season.
-
Our coin operated laundry facilities are open. $3 for a wash and $1 for 20 minutes of drying. They take loonies, toonies and quarters. Please bring change with you as it is not available at the facility.
-
We welcome extended stays for the winter and offer weekly and monthly rates. All extended stays have to be booked through the campground front desk staff.
